Other than rechecking ALL the EC2 connections I'm
not sure where to go from here.
Go ahead and check
every wire, even where they might touch in the soldered
connectors.
I learned from
multiple wastes of time that I had crossed two wires that
prevented mixture settings from being properly stored. There are
longer stories about wiring mistakes, but I can't stand the
shame..:-)

Believe it or not, I know a guy, who has a friend,
who tried and tried to crank his engine one day, only to find that his
injector switches were in the disable position. What a
dumbass... OK, it was me
