I'm at the point where I'm trying to start my (3rd gen turbo LS1 coils) engine for the first time.
I turned the engine for about a minute. It made no attempt to fire at all, so I removed a plug, grounded the side against the block and looked for a spark while cranking. Nothing. I checked the hot pin on the LS1 coil, and it had 12v. The other 3 pins seemed to be grounded. Other than rechecking ALL the EC2 connections I'm not sure where to go from here.

Hi John.  As careful as I thought I was when I hooked up my EC-2, I made some mistakes.  I would be willing to bet that you'll find a simple wiring error, rather than something actually broken.  Did you install the recommended injector disable switches?  I'd look there first.  BTW, they aren't off are they :-)   Believe it or not, I know a guy, who has a friend, who tried and tried to crank his engine one day, only to find that his injector switches were in the disable position.   What a dumbass... OK, it was me :-)

Good luck,
Rusty (I want to hear engine noise again myself)
