Bill,

The attached plot is from my engine stand with a turbocharged Renesis essentially normalized to sea level (DA was 7400 ft).  The prop limited the RPM to 5600 but extrapolating to 62-6300 RPM would make 200 HP seem possible.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Do you believe these charts?

I came across these power, torque, and fuel consumption charts from Mistral on the VAF.  I have come to the conclusion that I don’t believe a word of it.  Does anyone have any performance data that they would like to share that seems to make these charts seem remotely possible?

They are claiming 200 HP at about 62-6300 rpm with a NA engine.

I am thinking BS and apple butter.  The apple butter is to make the BS tastier!   :>)

I want to be wrong about this so I hope to get put in my place, but I aint holding my breath!
