Thanks for bringing this up.
We're about to make another batch of these plates. We know there have been some issues with flywheels/flex plates and it has been quiet for awhile. Is there a standard aluminum flywheel we are going to be using now instead of the automatic flex plate? If that is the case we will make the plates with the appropriate mod in the starter area to accommodate the difference.

Bill, 

 

I moved mine to the 9 o'clock position (plugs side) by building a whole new plate.  Since the bell housing bolts locate the center position, it requires very accurate locating of the holes as does the center hole which has a counter-bore for the seal.  I cut the plate and a good friend with a Bridgeport did the holes for reasonable fee.  Too bad Tracy doesn't offer this as an option.
