I guess those lawnmower batteries aren't what they used to be :) Actually, seems that the "Everstart"s lasted longer than the "Champion"s I've been using the last couple of times. Or the new starter with the RWS PSRU is more demanding than the one I had on the Ross? Anyway, plunking down $17 for a new battery seems way extravagant - I think I'll try charging it first :) Finn WALTER KERR wrote: > Finn, IMHO the best way to fix low voltage is to buy a new battery and > I know that is hard for you to accept > > bernie > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Tommy James > To: Rotary motors in aircraft > Sent: Tuesday, February 17, 2004 9:08 PM > Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Won't start -> Started! > > Finn, FWIW...It has helped my starting, with low voltage, to pull > the prop through a couple of turns before hitting the start button. > Regards, > Tommy James<>< > > > --------------070107080704090604000205 Content-Type: multipart/related; boundary="------------060908050202000503030600" --------------060908050202000503030600 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Actually, it's only been a couple of months since I replaced the battery.
