That's the SDS unit, right? I wonder what it would cost to get the SDS units across the border. I'm guessing that by the time I pay import duties & buy a couple of connectors, it'll be close to a wash on price. The price for the one I just posted was $50 in the original thread where I found them, but he's gone up in price.  The strength shouldn't be too much of an issue with only around 10-12 lbs pushing on the cap (40 psi/small area of the O-ring). The guys racing turbocharged VW's don't seem to have a problem.

Charlie,

Those look pretty nice. From looking at the bung on the right, it
appears they come apart with small allen screws through the top. Is
this correct? $60/ea seems a bit steep though.

There's an outfit in Canada that sells a nice FI bung (See
attachment). Theirs appear to be a bit more robust.

For more images, google 'doubleday racing injector holders'.

I actually found these on an air-cooled VW forum. As you can see, the
web site is badly neglected, but when I sent him a private message via
the VW forum, he responded within a few hours. They are $60 ea in
aluminum, and a bit more if for some reason you need steel.

Since I'll have a 'dead end' feed to the engine, like Tracy's 20B, the
inclusion of AN-6 fittings was the attention getter for me. Mu intent is
to use them on the secondary intake tubes, with the primaries in the
stock location. I'm so tight I squeak, but in this case, I couldn't come
up with an inexpensive + easy to implement solution for the secondaries.

If anyone's interested, his email address is derek@injectorholder.com
<mailto:derek@injectorholder.com>. I told him I wanted 2 for a rotary
(he's had one other rotary customer), but I didn't mention 'aircraft'.
