I won't be making it, Charlie. I've
made excellent progress over the last couple months. The engine
is running smooth, and cooling effectively, and I did the last
layup, a wing fairing, this past weekend; but, I still need an
FAA sign-off, and there is no way I'm going to get through a
flight test program in two weeks.
I'm setting my sights on next year, though.

If you'd like to come but aren't on this list, can you drop us a
line or give us a call sometime in the next few days? Arrival
& departure times/days are flexible; if you need to arrive
early or depart late due to weather, it's no problem. It looks
like we might have one 'private' space available if there's anyone
left who'd like to bring their spouse/significant other. We can
also handle a few more in the den, etc, if you can bring your own
bedroll. Plenty of space for tent camping, too, and there's a
private camp ground about 2 miles away if you need full hookups
for a camper.
So how about it? Any more takers before I send the general invite
to Patrick at Contact Magazine?

PS: A few have volunteered to do presentations on Saturday.
Richard on his single-rotor, Steve on SAG, Bobby (volunteered by
me) on superchargers, and Monty on a project yet to be disclosed.
Hopefully Tracy can tell us about the new EC-3 & software.
Anyone else willing to talk about their project? I'll have a
computer with Open Office & (old) MS Office, and a video
projector & small PA system available.
