Would love to Charlie, unfortunately my one "good"
eye has a cataract which has developed to the point its very doubtful I
could past the distant vision requirement in the classIII physical.
Therefore it looks like my flying in my RV is over until
I get a cataract lens replacement. Not particularly thrilled by that
prospect as the last eye operation I had (admittedly a bit more serious)
was botched and resulted in lost of sight in my right eye. Also,
if I should take the class III and flunk, then I am banned as flying as a LSA
pilot - so most prudent course at this time appears to exercise LSA
rights until eye issue is resolved.
But, seeing the list of folks attending really makes me
want to at hop in my car and drive that way again {:>) I certainly
will miss not attending.
Say "Hi" to Tupper for me and have a great
flyin.
