I guess that if there's an upside, clear lens replacement surgery seems to be a non-event these days. I remember talking to James Freeman ('flyeyes' on the VAF forum) several years ago about some of the new tech that's available. You can now get a multifocal replacement lens & get rid of reading glasses, so maybe it can work out as a good thing. Maybe you & Earnest could share driving chores. Therefore it looks like my flying in my RV is over until I get a cataract lens replacement.  Not particularly thrilled by that  prospect as the last eye operation I had (admittedly a bit more serious) was botched and  resulted in lost of sight in my right eye.  Also, if I should take the class III and flunk, then I am banned as flying as a LSA pilot - so most prudent course at this time appears to exercise LSA rights until eye issue is resolved.

But, seeing the list of folks attending really makes me want to at hop in my car and drive that way again {:>)  I certainly will miss not attending.

Say "Hi" to Tupper for me and have a great flyin.

So, Ed, does that mean you can fly down to MS for the Rotary gathering on the 28th? :-)
