Ed,
This is the info. I got from my neighbor Ron Waker - he was in the 40 plane formation also. I assume RODOC is Dave L. Glad it was only a couple of wheel pants damaged and the problem was able to be fixed easily. I wonder what clogged the filter.

Oh ya.. RODOC.
We were on our way from SQI to OSH on Sunday .. after about 30 min of
flying from SQI, I hear "Rodoc's Out" over the radio. He was very calm
about it. Flight lead asking him what was wrong etc. "Don't know" what
the answer. We assigned a wingman to stay with him, and a 'spare' took
his place in the formation. We had 4 spares with us.
He landed in a bean field. Destroyed his wheel pants, but no other
damage. The farmer towed him to his private driveway. They fixed the
problem and he launched to OSH. No further problems.
The issue ended up being a clogged fuel filter. It was so gummed up that
the circuit breaker kept popping on the fuel pump. Once it was cleaned
and blown out, everything was fine.
He did end up flying in the 40 ship on Monday.

I was told a Rv-6 Rotary from California made a force landing out of
the "40" Oskhosh RV formation at the airshow. Sort of thought it
could have been Dave Lenoard - anybody heard who it was? I understand
he was able to take off from a nearby road - so apparently no serious
damage if any
