To block heat radiation, just about anything!

A simple aluminum shield will work fine.  If too close to the exhaust steel
or stainless steel.

I noticed a little rubber dust around the mounts today and was looking them over.  I saw that the left front top was hard as a rock!  This is the one that is closest to the exhaust.  I need to replace them and also to build some kind of shield to keep the heat off them.

What are you guys using to shield the heat?
