Yes in deed! Special thanks no doubt are in order for our Austin, TX
rotor-heads who flew up together and provided all with a much needed and
appreciated glimpse of flying rotary examples! There is just something to
be said about being able to look at three great examples (actually four since
Sam's was right there to view as well); of how to do a functioning
installation! I know I picked up a few more ideas to ponder and will soon
be incorporating them into my project in the near future!

and planes.
Hopefully we'll get at least 7-10 rotaries next year as well as some
Subie's and maybe some more GM's, etc. to boot. It was cool to have Lyle
Moss bring his LS-1 Glassair III and I hope he'll come back next ear with it and
with his super-charger fully mission capable (FMC; as we say in the
AF ).

typewriter (though you should likely use a computer) would write up an article
or two in print telling of the events, discussions, great ideas, technological
breakthroughs, funny anecdotes, oh, and topics of discussion of the
presentations.
Well that will be easy...you see, without the presence of our much loved
engineering type guys (Tracy, Steve Boese / Ed Anderson, etc, etc,); we
neophytes were left in a largely unsupervised status and therefore we
sort of allowed this year's event to devolve into a fun time
of social interaction...along with much time spent personal study
and picture taking of the various FWF installations in
attendance.
I just got home from my 9 hr. drive (I really want to fly next yr!!!!)
and now need to get ready for work tomorrow; so hopefully some of the other
folks in attendance will chime in here with there takeaways, etc. from
the weekend!
As always many "THANK YOU"s go out to Ed Klepis and his family
for the hospitality support they provided again this year as sponsor's of
this event!
Hope to see many of you there next year!
Doug (ready and motivated to get after my FWF
again!!!)
