Synthetic is supposed to be a better lube, and is supposed to be quite a bit better at lubing the gearbox than regular motor oil. So if you buy that, now you're down to deciding whether to remember to do premix at every gas fillup, or remember to add oil to the premix reservoir as needed.

Yes, that's my opinion as well. I believe that synthetic stands up to the heat a lot longer than the dyno oil does.
The two-cycle seems to do a better job of lubricating the rotors whether you go the pre-mix route or injection method.
From my perspective, I don't like the idea of of putting non-two-cycle oil in the combustion chamber.
