I use -8 oil lines with the stock Mazda oil cooler and filter.  The eccentric shaft oil jets are the fixed carb jets recommended in the Turrentine overhaul instructions and the eccentric shaft thermal valve has been removed and replaced with the recommended spacer.  The oil pressure is taken after the cooler and filter.  As shown in the attached plot, the oil pressure is regulated at about 56 psi by the unmodified stock oil pressure regulator.
