I'm not about to spend the money to test it, but would the 2-cycle oil in the fuel for people doing pre-mix contribute a level of forgiveness in this situation? I just cured my last fuel leak (a seeping valve), and I notice that the gas evaporates and leaves the blue 2-cycle oil behind.
