I can't remember, are you NA or turbo? I recall one of my concerns was that I'm turbo, and I was worried about things like boost pressure and stress cracking because of that.

One of my experiments is that I have the blower from a 50's Corvair mounted on the eshaft, trying to get a small amount of boost, but nothing like a turbo.  My intake has no flat surfaces (the original mold was a 1-gallon Gatorade bottle).  That part of the design I like, as it addresses the stress issue, but I don't think I'd want want a composite intake next to a turbo.  In flight, it would be fine if throttle-body injection were used (the evaporating fuel leaves condensate on the outside of mine), but that turbo keeps a huge amount of heat next to a plastic part after engine shutdown.
