Yes, you would cup you = hand to "scoop" up the water, but the pump does not "scoop" - it pushes. = So at least that part of the Mazda pump design is correct. Now look at these water pump impellors =85 if I = wanted to move=20 water I=92d cup my hand and scoop it, not use the back of my = hand.

Has Mazda got this wrong? Or am I missing=20 something?

It looks like I=92ll have to change the water pump, = as the=20 flange may be warped and the thread bosses are definitely = burred.
