From rotary and cozy legend John Slade:

"I've heard a few people complain about cracks near the hub, but I've had no problems in 80 hrs of use. Changing from a big fixed pitch prop to the IVO increased take-off and climb performance dramatically. I don't see any difference at cruise. The prop is well made, and their service is excellent."

No negative effects that I know of.   I used one for awhile on my RV-4 but was not happy with it's efficiency at high speed.   Worked great for takeoff & climb but area near hub was stalled and draggy at cruise & high speed.

Works better on canards because that area is in turbulent air anyway.

Tracy, do you know of any negative side affects of using a IVO magnum inflight adjustable prop with your psru?? I think John Slade has that configuration, but I was wondering if you reccommended it, or reccommended against it.
