Lynn: In your opinion is the Mazda factory dry sump system better then the Moroso 3 stage Dry sump . It seems that by time I get all the parts purchased for the Moroso version I might be sneeking up on the cost of the factory race version. Can these be purchased somewhere easiliy. Your thoughts?

For the oil I use Red Line straight 40 weight racing synthetic. For high film strength. Better heat transfer. Higher percentage anti scuff compounding and much higher anti foaming content.  A big problem for rotaries. In the event of an over heated oil problem, the synthetic will still be oil at very high temperatures, where dino oil turns into a black product most often found sprayed on dirt roads to keep dust down.

If the price is too high, I used Valvoline racing 40 weight (dino oil) for years before the Red Line. No oil related failures from 1980 to 2005 (retired)
