He warned all 20B users to be aware. It will take time since the EC3/EM3 is new to me and I am still figuring out the pages and all the cool items. It also does not help that I am running a little large secondary injectors and will have to account for that. I just need to get it smoothed out during the idle. All,
=A0 This is my first post to the forum, but I have utilized the archiv= e to gather information and assist me through my RV-10 build process.=A0 Al= l the information in this forum has been tremendous.

I started constructing my RV-10 in Oct 2006 =A0while stat= ioned at Coast Guard Air Station North Bend, OR.=A0 I continue= d to build it while I was stationed in Jacksonville FL and I finally have i= t in a hangar out here in Colorado Springs CO.=A0 The aircraft= has been all the way across the US on the ground.=A0 I am gla= d to say that I finally got it started yesterday 25Jun11.=A0 I= t started right up, but had to keep the cold start on the EC3 in order for = it to run smoothly. The EM3 was working as advertised and oil pressure and = temp was excellent.=A0

I did another start today, still had to keep the cold start on.= =A0 I quickly changed it to MODE 3 and attempted to increase the inj= ector flow rate.=A0 This was a task, she did not want to run a= nd boy was she rough.=A0 I continued to increase the injector = flow rate, but I could not get to idle smoothly.=A0 I went bac= k to MODE 0 and turned the cold start back on and she smoothed out.= =A0 It was 95 degrees today here in Colorado Spring and I shut her d= own as water temp reach 200. Oil temp was only reading 160.=A0 I have not completed the duct work for the Radiator yet, but it will be co= mpleted here shortly, but for now, I will continue to do my short ground ru= ns in an attempt to get her idling smoothly.=A0 These past few= days have been very satisfying.=A0 4.5 years turning out grea= t.
