Ernest,
Are you hogging that out of a 6 X 6 post??  Are you building a prop or
mulching your wife's flower beds??  :>)  or both??

Subject: [FlyRotary] Prop carving

I added more pitch to my temporary propeller, trying to load up the engine a
little more.  I haven't balanced it yet,
but I did take the opportunity to take some blurry pictures of the setup I
used.  You can see how the height of the
angle iron can be adjusted on all 4 corners in order to adjust the pitch or
provide twist.  Once it is set, I slide the
planar along the rails until it doesn't cut any more, then without adjusting
the angle, I turn the prop 180* and cut the
other side.  It doesn't guarantee that I have the correct pitch.  It just
assures that both sides have the same
incorrect pitch.

It would be nice if I could remove the forward flat plate from the planar.
As it is, I can only get to within about 6"
of the hub before I have interference problems.
