This is non rotary, and not from me. The Embry Riddle aeronautical
students have to do a capstone project to graduate that includes a
survey. I've seen many of these, many of them BS and poorly
written/designed. This one is actually pretty decent, and asks the
right questions, as well as leaves room for individualized
responses.
He's an EAA member and a builder, so I dont mind actually forwarding
his request for surveys. If someone from the Van's group or other
groups could forward his survey request please do, but I'm not in
those groups.
Homebuilt Aircraft Builders, both past and
present: Embry-Riddle Graduate Student and EAA Chapter 105
(Oregon) member needs your input. I am currently conducting a
survey to identify and analyze causes of “builder’s block”,
those long delays in the build process. I am involved in a
partnership building an RV-7a myself while working on my
Master of Aeronautical Science degree. The short online survey
is part of my Capstone Graduate Project. It is intended to
collect the experiences of fellow home-built aircraft project
builders for a graduate study. No personal or private
information will be collected or requested. Just your
experiences with your home-built aircraft project in ten
simple questions! Thank you in advance for sharing your
wisdom! Jim Hand, Chapter 105 EAA, Graduate Student,
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
