Haven't flown yet or even= started the motor but The Vari-Prop looks to be a great piece of gear. &nb= sp;I paid 9K a couple of years ago.  The prop uses a slip ring to vary= the pitch.  You don't need a hollow shaft.  A very well engineer= ed slick little set up. Works great on Tracy's PSRU.
