Thanks Al. My oil pan temps max out at 250 F. So it's a pretty good match with the charts. However I did not think about the oil weight.

I have those same charts. That oil side drop is measured for oil at 250F; and my notes say SAE 10 – don’t recall where that came from. It’s been a long time, but it seems I translated that to the 20W50 I was using at the time; and to 220F using some viscosity data.  That led me to the 20-30 psi number.  Actually the MoCal was better than some of the other coolers I had looked at.

One of these charts show oil pressure drop for the C43- series. The C43-330 shows about 11psi drop at 15 gpm. It also seems the larger coolers have a better pressure drop to volume ratio. I have no idea if the charts are accurate. I email Laminova and ask for oil flow and pressure drop data for my ECD54-329 double core.
