Awww man, I forgot about that. :-) It's been so long since I flew in
the dark, I forgot that it could be done.
I'll check through Chuck's paperwork & see if there's a diagram
for the display.

Haven't got the plans for
that one, but I do have the ones for the failure-proof,
zero weight, no panel space required Mk-1E indicator:
glance out the canopy. It works. Every time. I promise.
Seriously, my -4 has the unit you're talking about, & I
didn't even realize it was there until a few months ago
(I've had the plane 8 years).
