Subject: [FlyRotary] Tube Beader

If you're using aluminum tubing as hose fittings, take a look at the attached picture.  This is a neat little gizmo from Earl's that forms a bead on the end of the pipe.  I just stumbled across these online yesterday, so I haven't ever tried one.

I heard that the Earl’s tube beader does not work well; although I have personally not tried it. And it does only one size.  For doing different sizes I decided to buy the tube beader from Mittler Bros. Machine & Tool.  Does a  nice job on tubes 1/2" and up.  I did some .058 wall 6061 just fine.

I paid $150; did about 8 beads.  I'll sell it for $100.

Al, I'll take it off your hands for $100, if its still available. Let me know.  I had thought about buy that one from Mittler a few months ago before I had my tubes beaded.
