I do not have a manu= al adjustment...just the spring. My desire is to be mindful of detonation i= ssues since this is so often discussed. Figure I should start small. I ha= ve seen boost on my EM2 that seem in line with the spring installed. I am = having a brain bubble on the MP but the Rpm is about 6300 rpm. It seems to= like about 6250 better as I have to play with mixture to get to 6300 for a= few seconds, but will stabilize around 6250 rpm. I am limited to this for = a very short time (less than a minute) since at these power settings my tem= ps start to rise FAST (perhaps bad design...or, perhaps 108 degrees F on th= e ramp with about 98% humidity....perhaps both). The turbo is a "Comp Turbo" T4 with. IIRC, the A/R is .96 with P trim, lik= e John Slade's. The Comp Turbo was recommended the guys at Turbochargers.co= m ( a local Houston company). Perhaps they get a kick back or just like th= e company. The guy I spoke with says it is the brand he uses extensively. I= have the "Performance" 46mm wastegate. Hope this info helps a bit.
