This is very sad news. Don’t
know the owner, but he is not on our Velocity e-mail list. Perhaps had he been he could have learned from others
experience.

the witness account:
"We saw it start to get lower and lower as it flew over, like they
were trying to find a place to land it," said Tyler Monroe, assistant
manager of the pro shop. "It hit the power lines.";
. . . the plane was evidently in
controlled flight. It apparently struck and flipped over. Makes me wonder if
the door came off and damaged the prop.

This seems similar to what happened
to Al, except that his door departed the plane and he landed safely.
