In regards to his comments about the Renesis, keep in mind that he has perhaps the largest collection of earlier 13B parts in the world and he would like to sell them. I assume he was talking about 2 stroke oil in his 1qt per 5 hr. story. I use about 1 quart in 8 hours (the Renesis needs less oil in premix than the earlier 13B) and if that stops you in your tracks, you should definitely forget about the rotary. I've never had to add crankcase oil between changes at 50 - 60 hours. I have over 500 hours on the Renesis and it's still runs like new. Compression is still at maximum. Fuel economy is not much different, maybe 2 - 3% better than the older engines. I burn 6.5 GPH at 172 mph TAS at 15,500. I don't sell engines either. Is anyone but Tracy using a Renesis? =A0I'd rea= lly like to know what HP you're getting, what the fuel burn is and how = it's holding up.

Thanks,

P.S. =A0I couldn't find any rotary planes = on the field at Oshkosh. =A0Perhaps they sank into the mud.
