We did some of that on the Eagle as well... all of the pressure hoses that hook up to the turbos have steel fittings. There have been reports of engine fires having started from people using aluminum fittings to the turbo, didn't want to experience that at all.

Hi, fellow rotary enthusiasts....My custom radiator should arrive this week, and it has -16 AN fittings on it, as does my water pump. Anyone know of the best source to buy the stainless steel braided -16 hose and fittings ? I have a Summit catalog, but don't know if there's a less expensive source out there. Thank you. Paul Conner
[A lot of the guys in the Lancair community use Sacramento Sky Ranch to fabricate their hoses. They have good pricing and excellent service... their hoses are guaranteed, and they have been known to replace hoses that were actually specified incorrectly by the customer. Check them out at http://www.sacskyranch.com/.
