Hi Ed;
Thanks, but somehow I don't think the "best practices coalition" would be interested in hosting a collection of unblessed fuel system drawings. There is some good advice to be sure on their fuel system section, but it seems to be closed for discussion. Their section on fuel control simply says "Buy Tracy Crooks EC2!". Again it is good advice, but not really the open forum for ideas that we are on this list for.
I'm reasonably certain that my fuel system wouldn't make the cut over there, maybe deservedly so, but at least here others can ask about it, discuss it, and take from it something that may improve their own system. Or not.
When I designed my first system, you may recall that I asked about your system, then copied it. Sort of, but in my infinite wisdom and because I was so much smarter than you, I just knew I could make it better with a just a little improvement here and there. But then there was a few other issues caused by that, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a little tweak here and there. And adding this and that. And it worked so well that I even got some unexpected glider time. Several times. Finally I really did get smart and started over again, keeping it simpler and it works much better.
A collection of fuel system drawings would be handy to also see ideas that didn't work, in case somebody else was thinking of them. Heck, I've still got the drawing of my failed system that I'd post along with warnings not to try this at home. And I still don't think my current system is the ultimate answer for my needs so any good ideas that others have that could still be implemented, I'd like to see them.

Hi Todd,
Here is one web site that we at one time kept current with the latest and greatest – still lots of good information on it, but many people on the list
Particularly the newer members may not be aware of it.
It might be worthwhile to see if this one is still active and use it as it did have some structure and organization to it.

I'm thinking that we need to have a library of sorts where we can have access to drawings of current fuel systems as well as proposed fuel systems. I was thinking that the rotary Wiki would be ideal, but I just visited it and it seems to be defunct now. I believe Bob White used to administer it. It was not particularly easy to navigate anyways.
Ed, could you post a drawing of your system? And any body else that would like to add their system for others to consider, no matter how simple or complex. Any description that could be added would be valuable as well. Even if you think your system is basically the same as another that's been posted, it would still be valuable as each system will have it's subtle differences based on a builders needs and preferences.
Even if just attached to reply of this post, then they will all end up in the archives under a subject heading that will be easy to find in a quick archive search.
