I tend to leave my EM2 set to show mixture and must admit I don't pay much attention to fuel flow. If the engine's running smoothly and the mixture's in the middle the fuel flow (shown by the EM2) isn't going to tell me much. The few times I checked I think it was showing anywhere between 7 - 8 gph at a gentle cruise and 13 or so at higher throttle settings.  I don't think I've ever checked it on take-off  (too busy watching temps and mixture). I usually flight plan for 10 gph and that seems to work out fairly well. If I ever get to less than 5gals in either side I consider it time to land and get fuel.
