Greetings,
As I grind through the
rev-2 details, I still need to come up with a place, for the oil cooler.
It will have to go on the bottom of the cowl, and I don't see any way to use the
stock carb scoop that's already down there (only 7 cu in inlet), so I'll have to
get rid of that, and come up with a new scoop. Anyway, I was wondering
what the ballpark size of the scoop should be.
Each cowl cheek inlet is
about 24 cu in, so logic would suggest that I start with the same size for oil
cooler. The cooler will likely be mounted very close to the cowl
bottom (to get away from the exhaust pipe above) so the ducting will
primarily be built into the scoop. Any ballpark figures for the
inlet will be appreciated.
Cheers,
Rusty (lightened the motor
mount today)
