John,
I still have the lines, pump, etc (I even have Richard Sohn’s
adaptor and adjustor). I was going to use it all, but ended up wanting
the space under the cowling, so am going with the oil mix. Call me if you
are interested in any of it. 910-822-7445.

Steve,
when I pull the engine next winter to inspect the re-drive, I'll get with you
on changing the oiling system. The pre-mix is just another hassle I don't
want to deal with. I called all the vendors in a RX Tuner publication and
didn't locate any steel oil lines, so will have to fabricate them. $30.00
for one nylon line, which appears to have a 180 degree twist in it, causing the
spiral split. JohnD

metering pump
The attached photo shows modifications to allow the use of the oil
metering pump with a separate oil reservoir and to eliminate the plastic oil
lines. Just for information, not advocating pro's or con's of doing so.
