my engine ran today, first time, a huge accomplishment for me [I built the intake(Weber carb), exhaust, and DIS ignition],  since I don't have the experience it seems everyone else does.  BUT, I ask a lot of questions(and have Lynn H advice!).  unfortunately my camera was taking video when I thought it wasn't, and I ended up with video of the opposite of what I wanted[shut off when I thought I was turning it on].   love that angry sound with no muffler! [currently blowing on to the wooden floor of my trailer!]  seems the water pump still isn't primed.  thinking of blasting the swirl tank with air hose while cracking the output line to see if water will flood the pump, or tapping a plug into the water pump housing to release air.
