I've come to the conclusion that with at Throttle body inserted in the pulse path that at WOT there would be mimimal effect, however, if you planned to cruise (part throttle) and expect any improved milage from the increase volumetric effiiciency of the DIE then I think that might not pan out.  The partially closed butterfly plates would probably have an adverse impact on the pulse (would reflect a lot of energy back).

 
Thanks for keeping me in your calculations Ed.  I also appreciate the comments, and pics of your evap cores.  I had pics of yours, and Finn's, that I got at Tracy's the year I got suckered into this  :-)
