 Don’t know anything about it being a go kart engine. My buddy was under the impression that they are built in-house. That certainly appears to be the case for their recips. In any case, seems to be a nice looking setup if someone were looking for an engine in that HP range.

Mike,
That's the go-cart engine modified for this application. It might even have a small turbo on it, but I'm going by memory.

A friend of mine flies a powered paraglider (PPG). He attended a flyin last month and saw this:
 
 
It's a single rotor liquid cooled rotary and available in several different displacements. Do a little web surfing and you'll find some pretty cool videos of guys flying PPGs powered by this.
