in searching for 180 elbows for my exhaust I'm
finding choices of - 180 degree /.065 wall/ 304 ($30 or $72),
180 with .080 wall, but 409,
90's, sch5 (.080 wall) in 304
180, .065 wall, 321, $112(?)

I am planning to use a chopped off stock
renesis manifold and was looking into using a 180, rather than the swirl pot
like Dennis did [since hiring a welder offsets a lot of make-it-yourself
savings]. my question is how important is wall thickness vs. alloy?
will a 321 at 16 gauge perform as well as the 304/.080 plus weigh a lot
less? or will it have a short life?
