Jeff makes an excellent point. I also just unscrew the lid and carefully wrap it in Anti static plastic, pad it well in a box with bubble wrap and ship that - I leave the case (as does Jeff) attached - makes the "hell hole" less hellish. To paraphrase John Slade, if the me of five years ago could see the me of today, he would be impressed by my knowledge....even with this type of trouble. When I post my questions and/or share my experience it is reassuring that while I may receive a couple of (hopefully well meaning) knocks, I am always quite certain I will get solid information that actually helps, educates and moves the process along. Even when a complete answer is impossible, it almost always gives a starting point. Yes, Ed, I am all for it breaking on the ground. Keeps it as a mere frustration.
