You’ll get there
Bernie – but, must admit an ambitious project for sure!!!. I’ll be turning 70
next year! So you are right – our endeavor does keep you young (not the
same as not getting older) and the mind
working{:>)

Thank you, Ed. Everything you have
said sounds reasonable and advantageous. Weird is OK in my book, despite the bad connotation other
folks give it. To me it means interesting, thinking outside the box,
Michelangelo, Einstein, Darwin, and the like. Without weird people,
we would still be in the stone age. The persecution of weird is, however,
alive and well by the right-wingers, ultra-religious, ultra-conservatives, and
so on, as well as the mentally lazy and the imagination-challenged. However,
this is not the forum to preach.
One last thingabout weird: I am in
the process of designing a 60% P-38, and that dictates very compact
power-plants (not that I need to be at all convinced about the rotary engine),
and the other thing that will make it work is to have the interior of the
cockpit arranged like a sail plane - recumbent style. I am 67 and may
not get there, but it's fun and it keeps my brain sharp.
Thank you,
Bernie
