I think it is time to get the instrumentation working properly. Since I have some idea of what to do. Since RPM is dropping out above 6000 RPM, and RPM is reading 0 when running only the Pri or Sec injectors, and MP is very erratic at best. My best guess is that it is electrical, NOISE?? I'll follow Tracy's suggestion and run an additional buss from the battery to power just the EC-2 and the EM-2. I'll keep it away from the fuel pump switches and lines, the coil disable switch, the injector disable switches etc. Now that I think about it, the EC-2 controller is right next to all these things. It will be easy to pull it out of the panel and run the engine with it in my lap. I'll try that first and then the rewire. I'll keep you all posted as to the result one way or the other. To all who sent suggestions, I'm working on detailed responses in the next day or so. Thanks, Don Walker N113BR Flying RV-8 Renesis 7.5 years in the making
