Bill,

I have 22 ground run hours on my engine with about half at high speed. I have become accustom to the high rpm sound but my taxi rpm just sounds wrong. I have to hit 3000 rpm to start moving.

Subject: [FlyRotary] First Flight N343BS

Today I did first flight in a "Rotary Powered", KIS Cruiser N343BS . Total flight time (hanger to hanger ) was 30 minutes. Three circuits around the airport and land since the wind was coming up and getting gusty.

Have some rigging to do, was right wing heavy.  Engine ran okay, still not used to the sound at cruise, but that will come with time and experience.

oil temp peaked at 210 into the engine during climb and water at 188.  Air through the radiator is heated 100*F .

More Later,
