My spouse's first experience in a GA aircraft was a C-172. Didn't like it - too noisy - sounded like it was trying to rattle itself to death. Didn't have much enthusiasm for the build, either ... ... until ... we caught a ride in Marc Zeitlin's COZY MkIV. It was ~much~ quieter (amazing how much less noise there is when you're running away from it, instead of flying right into it!) and much less vibration. Seating was far more comfortable, too.
