Sure is hard to get a straight answer on what materials are ethanol OK and what arent. I still havent figured out what the stuff was that I found in the bottoms of my tanks when I sumped them a while back. I've gone back to 100LL for a bit to see if it clears up - then will switch back to mogas and see if the problem returns. At least sounds like you are philosophical about it and are making good progress on the changes needed to get it fixed.
