Tom,

Have you considered using a "Shertz beam" mount instead of the bed mount?  The Sheretz beam is  much lighter.  If you're not familiar with the design, contact me off line and I'll send you some info.

Does anyone have a mechanical drawing of engine oil pan mounting holes?

I have a friend from the local EAA chapter helping out with the Bearhawk Project,
he had a blast with the lathe, so time to get him started on a project on the milling
machine.  Old hand wheels, but DRO comes in handy. :)

I figure on building the engine bed mount, then the engine mount. By then it will be
late when he realizes it isn't for a Lycoming. :)

Yes, Dennis we heard you (barely) flying overhead last night.  My wife keeps asking "so when are you going to finish Your plane!" :)

Thanks,

Tom
