You are right that they clog. every 100 hrs or so I start to notice a decrease in the overall flow rate, then maybe a small drop in pressure. The element always looks perfectly clean, but I just give it a good cleaning and it is good for another 100 hrs. Mike, are these the small blue circul= ar Earls filters?
I had problems with these. I would regularly get fuel = starvation / low mixture at high throttle settings.
