As I know you're aware, your "4" will fly much like your "6A" (while in the air) so until your gear touches down it pretty much will be a known quantity for you.  An RV-6 would be a great way to get some tail dragger experience vs. a "4" since the visibility is limited from the back seat...

 

Maybe you could hook up with Doc. Dave Leonard and get some touch and go's with him in his turbo "6"?
