I ran the engine today up to 25 MAC, the prop is a 68 x 72 on = 2:1 Marcotte Redrive. The 8,000 rpm auto tach I have isn't working, it = may be a dud, so I'm looking for a replacement that will work in the 2 = 1/8th inch hole. It is a good thing I had the plane tied to the garage = foundation, as the right wheel jumped the chock and for an instance I = thought I was going to have the big one, as there is an 8 foot drop off = the side of the drive. =20 Lynn, I talked with Gene Berg today and he didn't offer any hope of = finding the Grove needle valve replacement for the Weber.
