How far below the oil pump inlet = flange do you guys think I could locate the oil level before I start to = have problems with foaming. I recall a discussion a while = ago about a=20 remote oil tank. I am as usual trying to put 10lbs of poo in a 5lb = sack. I=20 don't want to use a dry sump for weight and complexity reasons. How far = below=20 the oil pump inlet flange do you  guys think I could locate the oil = level=20 before I start to have problems with foaming.
 
Ed, how long is the pickup tube for = your tank and=20 how far is the oil level below your pump inlet?
