Yes, I did ask them about the possibility of building one without the waste gate but have not heard back form them. As far as flipping it around I think it should work. I have the Racing Beat flange and that fits well in either orientation so bolt pattern and exhaust ports are symmetrical. Provided that the cross pipe is not out to far so it interferes with the engine mount the turbo flange looks like it should clear as well. I'll wait to hear back from them.

     Also as Ernest mentioned perhaps they would build one
without the wastgate connection if the basic manifolr will
clear your mount.........Ask them if the manifold will mount
upside down which will put the TO4 mount flange to the
front of the engine (in the airplane) and facing down......That
might clear your mount better........
    I have a cast iron TO4 manifold (approx same size and
shape) and it will mount upside down...........
